Which tools can be used to create really sounds?

In principle, synth plug-ins with a random button are a good place to start (e.g. Loom 2 from AIR Music or Discovery Pro from DiscoDSP). Another possibility is offered by so-called image-to-sound programs like SPEAR or Virtual ANS, with which images can be converted into sounds. It‘s true that you first have to develop a feeling for using these programs so that the results don‘t turn out too arbitrary. On the other hand, thanks to these tools you get a lot of creative input that an „ordinary“synthesizer wouldn‘t offer. Not to mention the fun and surprise factor. The programs mentioned are free of charge and therefore worth a try.
