Rendher Minimal Jams

Rendher is one of Spain‘s up-and-coming

DJ and producer talents. After several EPs and remixes, Rendher - Minimal Jams is his first sample pack for Samplestate coming in at about 400 MB. The Tech House sounds are categorized into percussions (37), basses (30) combis (15), drums (14), kicks (14), synthesizers (10) vocals (10), hats (9), atmos and effects (4 each) and snares (3). Isolated oneshots, nine soft sampler patches and a multi-sample round off the fundus. The drums are mainly designed for 4/4 time, but partly processed as Atmos or as glitches. The vocals are chopped up and fragmented. The kick drum-less top loops, as well as the combis, are the most pleasing and turn out very groovy. But you should not expect melodies from the abstract synth elements.

Verdict

The rhythm is always in the foreground at Rendher - Minimal Jams. This Technoid sound collection combines danceable with experimental elements.
