Finisher Dynamo
The newest member of the Finisher product family is advertised as a „Magical Movement Machine“and attracts with an inviting interface in a steampunk aesthetic. That‘ s reason enough to take a closer look at Finisher Dynamo! This plug-in comes with 50 effect chains, and you can adjust their sound with five macro controls. A total of 27 different algorithms are used, from equalizers and step filters to multiband distortion, delay and convolution reverb, as well as Stutter and Glitch effects.
The large Finisher knob determines the intensity of the effect processing, while the Pattern knob lets you switch between the rhythmic patterns Halftime, Poly, Standard, Triplet and Doubletime. Behind the Tone knob is a very powerful combination of low pass and high pass filters. The function of the remaining two controls varies for each of the 290 presets. In addition, the input and output gain can also be adjusted. Particularly when you automate the five controls, you can achieve extremely lively and dynamic results with Finisher Dynamo. The only thing we miss is a MIDI Learn function.
Verdict
Like the other plug-ins in the Finisher family, Dynamo makes complex sound design easy to use. Thanks to its highly intuitive operation and enormous creative potential, you can virtually lose yourself in sonic experimentation by unleashing this tool on various different types of audio signals.
