However, they are not easy to implement with sample libraries, since rapid note repetitions often sound machine-like. Fluid Brass is dedicated to brass instruments and offers one Kontakt instrument each for 2 trumpets, 2 horns, 2 tenor trombones, 2 bass trombones and 1 tuba. Fluid Woods, on the other hand, includes patches for piccolo, flute, oboe, clarinet and bassoon. Both libraries focus on short articulations.

Five microphone positions were sampled for all instruments, and the signals can be mixed as desired. Thanks to up to 10 alternative samples, even fast note repetitions sound very convincing. Depending on the playing speed, corresponding samples are triggered, for which six repetition velocities have been recorded. The brass instruments offer up to 6 and the woodwind instruments up to 10 velocity levels. On the advanced page, you can adjust the playing behavior and the reverb effect. For the latter, you can choose between room and hall modes.
