CELEBRATING REAL LIFE SEXUALITY AND RELATIONSHIPS
Founded in 2016, Lustery is the platform that is providing a sexcelebrating and shame-free space for couples, to share their intimate moments on camera. At Lustery it’s the real life partners passion and desire that is important, which makes it different to other porn platforms.
The Spanish filmmaker Paulita Pappel founded the platform and today she tells us she sometimes feels more connected to the Lustery creators than to parts of her own family.
What does Lustery stand for to you?
Lustery is for me a space for celebrating sexuality and relationships in all their diversity without shame. It’s a sex-positive platform for people all over the world and an archive of authentic intimacy. I find it a source of inspiration in practical ways because I have learned so much about sex and connection watching Lustery videos and I also can’t get enough of POV articles with their different points of view and topics. On a very personal level, it is reassuring to be part of an international community of people that are open to explore and share their sexuality, I feel more connected to Lustery creators than I do to some parts of my family.
What makes Lustery different from other platforms?
Our concept is that we have a curated library, so instead of working on mass content, we have a growing selection of good quality selfshot videos that feature only partners by themselves. We put a lot of effort into coaching our creators, some of who have never done this before so that they make the best out of their video in terms of video quality. At the same time, there are no rules on what to do or not do sexually, and there are absolutely no incentives on performing certain sexual practices, so it is our priority to have people doing what they most enjoy.
Did people watch more porn during the pandemic?
Big time yes! Not only did people watch more porn during the pandemic, but they also watch more porn are different hours, like in the middle of the day, and they did more porn :) Our couple applications, video submissions and user pool all grew over 50% in the first year of the pandemic. I want to believe that it helped many people to have new revenue sources and also to pass the hours of solitude in better company.
You’re starting a new project with shorter clips now, tell us about the project and what needs you want to satisfy!
We are launching the Lustery ‘Moments’, a new format that is a single clip between 5 and 10 minutes, no cuts, just the feel of the moment! Each video has a main focus, which brings even more diversity to the site. We have of course POV’s, but also varied kinky moments, unexpected, spontaneous moments... With this format we’re completing our offer on video formats, from the moment to the Vlog format, which is a longer video where you get to spend time and get to know the couples better, through the standard and the quickie, there’s everything both the masturbator and the sexually curious heart might desire.
