Speaking to the media on the sidelines of the launch of the conference, Executive Secretary for the Ghana Nigeria business council, Nadia Takyiwaa-Mensah, hoped that this would help businesses in the countries raise capital from the Americas, particularly from the diasporan community.

She stated that “access to funding remains our single biggest challenge. You’ve got brilliant ideas, you’ve got people being able to do the business, there are a lot of businesses that are at their scale-up stage but it’s financing that we are having a challenge with.”
