Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba has bought out the Berlin-based Artisans data analysis startup founded by Greek scientist Costas Tzoumas for a reported 90 million euros. Tzoumas told Kathimerini that Alibaba was one of the startup’s clients, as were companies such as Netflix, ING and Uber.
