A father of one is now dead and his friend in a critical condition at the Woodlands Hospital after they were involved in a motorcycle accident yesterday afternoon. Stabroek News understands that the accident occurred at Aubrey Barker Road, South Ruimveldt, about 1: 50 pm yesterday, resulting in the death of Sunil Samaroo, 23 years, of Kaneville, Grove, East Bank Demerara. Meanwhile, 24 year old Keitze Bazilo, of 33 Howes Street, Charlestown, who was the pillion rider at the time, remains a patient of the Intensive Care Unit at the Woodlands Hospital. According to a police press statement, Samaroo, who was reportedly riding an unregistered motorcycle along with Bazilo as a pillion rider, was said to have been racing with two other motorcycles, heading east along the said road.
