Rose Hall money changer miss­ing

A Rose Hall, Coren­tyne mon­ey­changer has been miss­ing since Fri­day and his fam­ily is seek­ing the pub­lic’s help to find him.

A miss­ing re­port has been filed at the Rose Hall Out­post for Anil Ku­mar Sukraj, 28, who was last seen on Fri­day mid­day in the Al­bion area wear­ing a blue shirt, grey short pants and slip­pers. His fam­ily launched a search for him yes­ter­day but up to press time he had not been lo­cated. Ac­cord­ing to in­for­ma­tion gath­ered, Sukraj left home around 7.30 am on Fri­day to head to work at the Rose Hall Arch. He, his fa­ther and brother are known money chang­ers in Rose Hall.

This pub­li­ca­tion was told that around Fri­day mid­day Sukraj was seen board­ing a hire car from Rose Hall, Coren­tyne.

He was re­port­edly dropped in front of a store at Al­bion, Coren­tyne. How­ever, sources said that he did not en­ter the store but in­stead took an­other car to Fyr­ish, Coren­tyne. Ac­cord­ing to in­for­ma­tion gath­ered, the miss­ing man was on his phone telling some­one to pick him up while in the hire car.

Sources close to the in­ves­ti­ga­tion ex­plained that a hire car driver saw the miss­ing man and an­other hire car driver, who is his friend, at the KK Ser­vice Sta­tion, at Ma­haica on Fri­day.

This pub­li­ca­tion was told that up to last evening, Sukraj’s rel­a­tives were try­ing to ac­cess sur­veil­lance footage from the gas sta­tion.

Mean­while, the source fur­ther re­vealed that the friend who was spot­ted with the now miss­ing man yes­ter­day de­nied drop­ping him off any­where.

Ad­di­tion­ally, this pub­li­ca­tion was in­formed that sev­eral years ago the now miss­ing man had left home with­out telling any­one and only re­turned sev­eral days later.

Sukraj has been robbed four times and was even shot once.
