EBFA/Ralph Green Un­der-11 Foot­ball League Timehri Pan­thers maul Her­stelling Raiders

Un­beaten sides Grove HiTech and Agri­cola bat­tled to a 3-3 draw, while Timehri Pan­thers, Mocha Champs and Swan tal­lied vic­to­ries, when the 3rd An­nual East Bank Foot­ball As­so­ci­a­tion (EBFA)/Ralph Green spon­sored Un­der-11 League con­tin­ued yes­ter­day.

Hosted at the Di­a­mond Com­mu­nity Cen­tre ground, Agri­cola raced off to a 3-0 lead as Mikel Mor­ris, Seon Grant and Jonathan An­dries each scored in the sec­ond, fifth and 10th minute re­spec­tively.

How­ever, the Grove unit fought back to earn a share of the spoils as they fash­ioned three unan­swered goals. Jevon Pluck com­menced the come­back with an 11th minute con­ver­sion, be­fore Ja­mal Cordis scored two min­utes later to make it 3-2.

The come­back was com­pleted in the 21st minute as Joshua Fred­er­icks made his pres­ence felt.

Mean­while, Timehri Pan­thers mauled Her­stelling Raiders 8-3. Keron Wil­liams amassed a hat-trick in the fourth, eighth and ninth minute, while Omar Sam recorded a hat-trick in the first, 10th and 19th minute.

Adding goals in the sec­ond and 20th minute were Shaque­lle Caleb and Jaden Tasher re­spec­tively. For the loser, Mal­colm Hen­dricks bagged a dou­ble in the 13th and 26th minute, while Seon Carmichael scored in the 17th minute.

Sim­i­larly, Mocha Champs crushed Friend­ship 3-0. Matthew Mur­ray reg­is­tered a dou­ble in the ninth and 26th minute, with Matthew Forte con­tribut­ing a goal in the 14th minute. Swan and Sa­matta Point/Kaneville de­feated Haru­runi Ea­gles and Kuru-Ku­ruru re­spec­tively via walkovers.

On the other hand, Di­a­mond Upset­ters and Di­a­mond United bat­tled to a 1-1 stale­mate. Tim­o­thy Age­day handed Upset­ters the lead in the 10th minute, only for Paul McKen­zie to equalise in the 24th minute. The event con­tin­ues on Sat­ur­day at the same venue with an­other round of matches.
