Makeup myths

-

If you wear makeup, or even if you don’t, there’s always someone trying to give you advice on what type to wear and how to apply it. Some of it may well be sound, but not all of it. Here are some of the common myths: What causes breakouts is the lack of hygiene with which some approach makeup usage. Brushes must be cleaned frequently, and old or expired products thrown out. And always remove you makeup before bed. If you do these things you should have no more issues with breakouts.

Don’t ever believe in this myth. Primer is very essential to establish an even and proper base. It is very important to apply primer before foundation. It not only ensures the even and smooth application but also helps your foundation stay longer.

This is so bad! Skin care is for everyone. Hydrating all types of skin is always important. It is compulsory if you want your skin to be healthy. However, pay attention to the kind of moisturizer you use. Don’t go for the oil-based ones, if your skin is oily.

Just one word. Don’t. The closer shade it is to your skin, the better. Concealer that matches your skin will help you cover everything properly. Don’t ever use something that’s a shade lighter, it gives a cakey appearance and if your dark circles are that bad, just go with colour corrector.
