Enterprise Gardens resident Noel Fernandes, on Friday emerged the winner of a BMW X1 vehicle, at the end of a competition held by GTT.
According to a release from the telephone company, Fernandes dominated in both aspects of the two-part competition, garnering quadruple the votes in the first leg, which allowed the public to vote in support of the finalists.
The second leg of the competition, held Friday at the Stabroek Market Square, required the finalists to compete in a series of obstacle challenges, which included a cake eating competition, ‘Dunk that Junk’, balloon blow up, a question and answer segment on GTT’s Plus Sized promotion and a sing off battle.
Fernandes, emerging the victor, won not only the BMW, but also a year’s worth of super 95 gas from Guyoil and free insurance coverage for a year.
“I feel very deserving. I placed my best foot forward and this is the reward I am reaping now. I am just thankful to GTT for affording me such an opportunity and I promise to take good care of the vehicle and drive responsibly,” Fernandes reportedly said following his win.
Coming in second place was a father of five, Agricola resident Sean Charles, who won $150,000. The third place winner was S touted as a crowd fav the $100,000 prize. I Shameer Rahamut, $50,000. GTT’s Se Executive and Eve Tashandra Inniss, re the competition as b most successful even
