Enterprise Gardens resident Noel Fernandes, on Friday emerged the winner of a BMW X1 vehicle, at the end of a competitio­n held by GTT.

According to a release from the telephone company, Fernandes dominated in both aspects of the two-part competitio­n, garnering quadruple the votes in the first leg, which allowed the public to vote in support of the finalists.

The second leg of the competitio­n, held Friday at the Stabroek Market Square, required the finalists to compete in a series of obstacle challenges, which included a cake eating competitio­n, ‘Dunk that Junk’, balloon blow up, a question and answer segment on GTT’s Plus Sized promotion and a sing off battle.

Fernandes, emerging the victor, won not only the BMW, but also a year’s worth of super 95 gas from Guyoil and free insurance coverage for a year.

“I feel very deserving. I placed my best foot forward and this is the reward I am reaping now. I am just thankful to GTT for affording me such an opportunit­y and I promise to take good care of the vehicle and drive responsibl­y,” Fernandes reportedly said following his win.
