LUCAS STOCK INDEX (LSI)
The Lucas Stock Index increased 2.449 percent during the first period of trading in January 2022. The stocks of four companies were traded with 19,232 shares changing hands. There was one Climber and no Tumblers. The stock price of Demerara Distillers Limited (DDL) rose 13.475 percent on the sale of 400 shares. In the meanwhile, the stock prices of Banks DIH (DIH), Demerara Tobacco Company (DTC) and Republic Bank Limited (RBL) remained unchanged on the sale of 17,161; 717 and 954 shares respectively.
