Dolphin Secondary, West Ruimveldt, Cummings Lodge record lopsided wins in Boys Division at ExxonMobil U14 football tourney

Dolphin Secondary, West Ruimveldt, and Cummings Lodge, recorded lopsided wins in the Boys Division, while East Ruimveldt and New Campbellvi­lle were victorious in the Girls Section, when the ExxonMobil U14 football championsh­ip continued yesterday at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue, Georgetown.

Dolphin Secondary mauled Leonora 17-0. Jason Sandiford tallied seven conversion­s in the 2nd, 3rd, 9th, 12th, 32nd, 36th, and 38th minute.

He was supported by a Tremaine Bishop hat-trick in the 11th, 13th, and 29th minute, whilst Jerimiah Caesar crafted a brace in the 14th and 16th minute, and Malachi Gowen registered a double in the 16th and 20th minute.

Adding to the score in the 6th, 30th and 39th minute respective­ly, were Kellon Alleyne, Aubrey Taylor, and Damani Hardey.

Meanwhile, West Ruimveldt thrashed Freeburg 9-1. Wayne Solomon bagged a hat-trick in the 29th, 30th and 34th minute, whilst Mark Johnson fashioned a three-goal blitz in the 16th, 24th and 36th minute. Adding a double in the seventh and 18th minute was Donovan Welcome, with Ronaldo Ramdass contributi­ng to the score in the 28th minute. For the loser, Jerimiah Lawrence scored in the 26th minute.

Likewise, Cummings Lodge crushed Patentia 7-0. Dequan Thom amassed a helmet trick in the 10th, 21st, 25th, and 28th minute, while Rovin Harry, Nickolas Watts and Tyrell Walcott scored in the 2nd, 29th and 31st minute respective­ly.

In the Girls format, East Ruimveldt crushed Dolphin Secondary 4-0. Azaria Wilson tallied a hat-trick in the 11th, 24th and 26th minute, whilst Akeela Sealy scored in the 30th minute. Also, New Campbellvi­lle downed Dolphin 2-0 compliment­s of goals from Devina Bunbury, and Ranella Alexander in the 13th and 34th minute apiece.
