Essequibo youths educated in sari making, public speaking at Naujawaan summer camps
Youths from various communities in Region Two were trained in sari making, dancing and public speaking at recent Guyana Hindu Dharmic Sabha Essequibo Coast Naujawaan summer camps.
The summer camps attracted 86 youths from across Region Two and were held at the Anna Regina Kendra.
According to President of the Naujawaan Arvin Singh, the camps were successful and at the end, each participant received a certificate of participation. Singh said that the camps resumed after two years of lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He said that the children were excited to be a part of group activities.
