Slingerz FC, Den Amstel to contest WDFAL final
Slingerz FC and Den Amstel will contest the final of the West Demerara Football Association League Knockout Championship, following semi-final wins on Friday evening at the National Track and Field Centre, Leonora, West Coast Demerara.
Slingerz FC dismissed Uitvlugt 2-0. Simeon Moore and Delon Lanferman found the back of the net in the 44th, and 68th minute respectively.
Meanwhile, Den Amstel edged Pouderoyen 10. Kester Jacobs scored in the 85th minute, directing his header into the back of net. The respective losers will contest the third place playoff.
