Botofago, Winners Connection secure wins
Botofago and Winners Connection secured contrasting wins when the Upper Demerara Football Association (UDFA) senior men’s League continued yesterday at the Mackenzie Sports Club ground, Linden.
Botofago clipped Eagles 2-0. Ojani Whittington and Tyrese David scored in the 28th and 62nd minute respectively.
Meanwhile, Winners Connection edged Amelia’s Ward Panthers 2-1. Kevin McPherson, and Nicholas Gentle scored in the 28th and 58th minute respectively. On target in the loss was Tyrel Stephens in the 76th minute.
