B/ce, President’s XI Inter-County game washed out

Yesterday’s scheduled Guyana Cricket Board round three Inter-County match between Berbice and the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) President’s XI has been washed out due to persistent rainfall over the past two days.

According to a release from the GCB, The match was abandoned without a ball being bowled.

The GCB denior male Super50 Inter-County competition will continue today at the Providence National Stadium with Demerara playing Essequibo from 09:00 hours. The winner of this encounter will earn the right to face Berbice in Tuesday’s Final which is set to be played under lights at Providence, the release stated.
