Pupils who read regularly from a young age develop a large vocabulary. If you read more, you will become exposed to more words, which will eventually end up in your everyday vocabulary. In addition, the size of your vocabulary can affect many areas of your life such as test scores, admission to high school, and employment opportunities So, read as many books as you can because they help to define who you are.
