Picnic day:

The Palms Geriatric Home culminated its month of activities for the elderly with a picnic at the Promenade Gardens on Friday for over 50 residents from the Veterans Home, Millicent Greaves Home, Byers Home, Archers Home, Uncle Eddie’s Home and Ivy Hall Home.

Abike Benjamin-Samuels, Deputy Director reiterated, “We do recognize them, we salute them and appreciate their efforts over the years. There will be many more activities of such, that will strive to enhance the lives of the elderly.” (Ministry of Human Services photo)
