Single new COVID-19 case reported

The Ministry of Health on Saturday reported one new COVID-19 case.

It confirmed the new case from 176 tests that were conducted, according to the ministry’s updated COVID-19 dashboard.

The new case was recorded in Region Four.

In addition, the updated dashboard showed that 12 persons in home isolation and one person in institutional isolation.

After reporting no new cases for two consecutive days, the Ministry of Health on Friday reported that four new COVID cases had been recorded. Those new cases were confirmed from 100 tests that were conducted.

Three of the new cases were recorded from Region Four, while the other was from Region Nine.

The country’s death toll from the virus remains at 1,281.
