Courts presents million-dollar cheques to trio
Courts Guyana on Thursday presented customers with prizes in their various Christmas promotions. The presentation was held at their flagship store located on Main Street.
Three customers were presented with $1,000,000 each and three others with a $300,000 shopping spree at Courts. Nayaa Rose, Olwin Lynch and Petal Surujpaul, won $1m each through the company’s Whirlpool promotion.
Also through the Whirlpool promotion, Shurcina Hinds won an all-inclusive getaway to start the new year at the Sandals Resort in St. Lucia. Hinds said she purchased a Whirlpool gas stove and a spring mattress and filled out a coupon. She later received a call from a Courts representative who told her she had won the trip.
Nayaa Rose stated that she purchased approximately six items to furnish her home which included a sofa set, a dining set and coffee table. She filled out coupons and received a call which she thought was a prank until the representative presented certain information to her. Rose said she was very excited because she has never won anything.
Malika Nurse, Pelham Cadogan and Bonita Noel, who filled their entire prescriptions at Courts Optical, won a $300,000 Courts shopping spree each. For the rest of their lives they will receive new eyeglasses every two years.
Courts throughout the season of giving is giving back to its customers. The company will be having a number of promotions for the Christmas season which will end on December 31st.
