Trinidad: Bullets for Bagasse
(Trinidad Express) was gunned down in a drive by shooting in Freeport on Wednesday night.
Ricky Chankerdial, nicknamed “Bagasse”, was shot multiple times and died at the scene. The killing occurred around 8p.m at Arena Road. Chankerdial was standing on the road opposite the Highway to Heaven Bar when a vehicle drove past.
Witnesses said dozens of gunshots were heard as the car sped by.
Chankerdial was shot multiple times and died on the street.
Officers of the Freeport police station, located a minute’s drive away, responded.
Detectives of Homicide Region III also responded.
