Correction

The December 5th edition of Stabroek News carried a letter entitled `The misbehaving lady ministers’ which was authored by Claudius Prince and in which he said that a Member of Parliament had claimed that she was sexually assaulted in Parliament even though proof of her claim is non-existent. While she was not named in the letter, Mr Prince was referring PPP/C MP Priya Manickchand. Ms Manickchand has since contacted the newspaper and pointed out that she had made no claim of sexual assault during an incident in Parliament. Stabroek New regrets the error and apologises to Ms Manickchand for any inconvenience caused.
