Phag­wah horse race meet to kick off ac­tiv­i­ties at KMTC

As cus­tom­ary, the Ken­nard Me­mo­rial Turf Club (KMTC) will kick off its cal­en­dar of ac­tiv­i­ties with the tra­di­tional Post Phag­wah Horse race meet.

The six-race card is sched­uled to run off on March 24 at the Ken­nard Me­mo­rial Turf Club.

In ex­cess of $3M in cash and tro­phies will be on of­fer.

The fea­ture event is for horses clas­si­fied G1 and lower gal­lop­ing for six fur­longs for a grand prize of $300,000.

Other races on the card will cater for three years old Guyana bred steeds, J class, L class Open, L class non win­ners and L class non earn­ers.

The cham­pion jockey, trainer and sta­bles will all re­ceive tro­phies com­pli­ments of Ramesh Su­nich of the Tro­phy Stall.
