Chan­dini Khan talks re­peat, CAC C/ships

Strut­ting to a first place fin­ish in her de­but out­ing at the Na­tional Se­nior Body­build­ing Cham­pi­onships last year, Ms. Bikini Cham­pion, Chan­dini Khan has plans to re­peat and then some in 2019.

The Fit­ness Par­adise Gym stand­out as­pires to raise the bar on the lo­cal stage while also tak­ing her tal­ents overseas.

The soon to be 26-year-old told this pub­li­ca­tion yes­ter­day that she cur­rently has her hard hat on putting in over­time with trainer, Omar Hope to bring up her lag­ging body parts in an ef­fort to be more com­plete and bal­anced to com­pete with the best bod­ies in the Re­gion.

“This sport has truly de­fined what my pas­sion re­ally is. I will al­ways be work­ing on my­self, on my physique, do­ing what­ever I can, how­ever I can for this sport.”

Khan added “I am look­ing for­ward to de­fend­ing my ti­tle at the Na­tional com­pe­ti­tion this year and as far as in­ter­na­tional com­pe­ti­tions go, it is my de­sire to com­pete at CAC. The CAC Cham­pi­onships is the high­est com­pe­ti­tion in the Re­gion and will be held in late July in Puerto Rico. She re­minded that spon­sor­ship con­tin­ues to be the heav­i­est weight to lift but “Nev­er­the­less as the year pro­gresses, I will be work­ing to­wards those goals.”

Tanned, toned and clad in stilet­tos, Khan plans to use her per­fect mix of beauty, style and mus­cle to carve out a podium spot once she com­petes in Puerto Rico.

So what are some of the body parts she is work­ing on in the gym? “My shoul­ders and glute/ham­string tie ins are my weak ar­eas, so I’ll be fo­cus­ing on build­ing my shoul­ders and bring­ing a more de­fined glute/ham­strings.”

Out­side the gym, Khan is also work­ing on im­prov­ing her re­sume’ in the field of per­sonal train­ing and nutri­tion.

“I’m work­ing on ed­u­cat­ing and cer­ti­fy­ing my­self in the ar­eas or nutri­tion and per­sonal train­ing in or­der to help oth­ers as these are also my ar­eas of as­pi­ra­tions.”

All in all, Khan is do­ing what­ever she can to con­tinue her as­cent on the fit­ness lad­der, in and out the gym.
