CAL releases schedule for Ogle/Barbados flights
Trinidad-based Caribbean Airlines Limited (CAL) yesterday released the schedule for its flights between the EFCIA, Ogle and the Grantley Adams International Airport (GAIA) in Barbados.
CAL will fly on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays between the two locations in a historic addition to its routes. One each day it will leave Barbados at 8.30 am and arrive at the Eugene F. Correia International Airport (EFCIA) commencing October 31. It will then leave the EFCIA at 11.25 am and arrive at GAIA at 1.25 pm.
According to the airline’s website, return flight prices start at around US$288.
In a statement yesterday, CAL said it will be utilising its ATR-72 fleet for this route. The ATR-72 is a twin-engine turboprop, short-haul plane developed and produced in France and Italy. It can seat between 72 and 78 passengers.

CAL said that these services to/from Ogle, will complement the airline’s current operations at Cheddi Jagan International Airport, Timehri, facilitating onward international connections to the UK and beyond and regional connections including St Vincent, Grenada, Dominica, St Vincent, St Lucia and other Caribbean Airlines destinations.
