GDF says farewell to retired officers

The Guyana Defence Force (GDF) on Thursday evening hosted a traditional “Dining out” dinner for five of its recently retired Officers.

A release from the GDF said that the former officers honoured were Colonel (Ret’d) Paul Arthur, Lieutenant Colonels (Ret’d) Ramkarran Doodnauth and Lawrence Fraser, Commander (Ret’d) Orin Porter and Major (Ret’d) Edward Peters. The event was held at the Officers’ Mess, Base Camp Ayanganna.

Chief of Staff Brigadier Godfrey Bess and other senior officers were present.
