UG physics lecturer dies by suicide
A University of Guyana lecturer died by suicide on Saturday morning leaving his family and friends in shock. Vishal Hemraj was a physics lecturer and tassa drummer at the Dynamic Tassa Troupe.
As news of his death was shared across Facebook, many of his students and friends spoke of his simple lifestyle.
They described him as an individual who “always wore a smile on his face”.
