Inter-Ministries, Government Agencies eight-a-side tape ball cricket competition to be held on Sunday

The Georgetown Office Assistants Promotional Committee will stage an Inter-Ministries/Government Agencies eight-a-side Tape Ball Cricket Competition on Sunday December 12 at the National Cultural Centre tarmac from 9:00am.

According to a release from the Committee, prospective teams have until 8:30 on the morning of the event to register to compete. Further, all competing players must be vaccinated and provide evidence of such status, to be able to feature in the tournament.

The release stated that a fixture between secondary schools will also be conducted. Cash and trophies will be awarded to the winner of the tournament. Sponsors of the event include Office of the President, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport, Star Party Rentals, Trophy Stall, and GTT. The event is being coordinated by James ‘Uprising’ Lewis.
