Region Nine gets medical boat

The Ministry of Health yesterday handed over a $3.6m medical boat to Region Nine which will operate between Crashwater and Apoteri. The boat will be used, in particular, by pregnant women who need to be transported to the Annai Hospital or the waiting home in the area. (Ministry of Health photo)
