Springlands man remanded over 2016 fatal accident
A man, who was arrested on Sunday in the Springlands, Upper Corentyne Area in connection with a fatal accident in August, 2016 was yesterday remanded to prison after he was charged.
Delon Moore, 27, of Lot 79 Corriverton, was driving motor car PTT 9233 along the Chester, West Coast Berbice Public Road when Adrian Gomez, 32, of Adventure, Corentyne, died as a result of an accident.
The police had said that Moore had evaded the police since.
Moore was arrested at the Springlands Police Station on Sunday after which he was transported to the Fort Wellington Police Station.
Yesterday, he appeared at the Blairmont Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Peter Hugh where he was charged with causing death by dangerous driving on August 09, 2016.
Moore was remanded to prison until his next court date, January 14th.
