Soesdyke-Linden taxi driver, 63, missing
A 63-year-old taxi driver disappeared from his Soesdyke-Linden
Highway home more than a week ago and his family is fearful that he is a victim of foul play.

Christmas Day.
The woman explained that the family received a call from Joseph’s wife on
Wednesday who informed them that he was missing.
During the conversation, Samantha said the woman said that Joseph fell down and was bleeding but he eventually felt better and two days after, he got dressed and went to Georgetown.
Samantha said Joseph’s wife also told her that he left his cellular phone behind and he did not state what his purpose was for going to the city.
According to Samantha, the family questioned Joseph’s wife on why she didn’t inform them earlier about his disappearance and she reportedly indicated that she was experiencing back pain.
The woman did not file a missing person report with the police either, Samantha said. It was not until Thursday that a relative from overseas contacted local police and filed a report, she added.
Samantha told this newspaper that her brother’s sudden disappearance is puzzling since he would never leave his home and if anything was wrong, he would inform them. “It’s impossible that my brother would disappear ever. He loves his home that’s his paradise…To leave the house without his phone that makes no sense,” she said.
Several searches were conducted including at the hospitals but there has been no sign of Joseph.
