Summer is here along with the urge to travel and engage in countless activities with friends and family. Remember that the word summer is usually associated with the beach, and there is nothing more relaxing than being in the sun listening to the sound of the waves while children build sand castles or enjoying a great cocktail among friends or your significant other. Consider incorporating exercise into the mix by playing a game of soccer or beach volleyball or taking long walks along the shore. Around this time families tend to spend more time together, as do friends; which is why it is common to find various festivals or celebrations going on, usually among family during the day or out around town during the evenings. During the summer several things take place: birds migrate to warmer places, fashion trends lead to a new collection, the days are longer and the nights become shorter, and of course, we have a holiday season. High temperatures make it easier to enjoy the outdoors therefore crowds flock to the beach, parks or rides in general. Summer is usually synonymous with fun and pleasure. Visiting the beach to enjoy the sun, surf and sea is one of the most common summer activities. Millions of people choose to come to the seaside resorts (known for being top summer destinations) for their holidays. In order to make sure you don’t miss anything, take a pen and paper and sit with your travel companions to discuss the activities you will do in the summer. Include simple and complex activities, and listen to everyone’s ideas. That said, there’s just one question you need to ask yourself… where to spend your summer vacation. Honduras Tips prepared this special summer issue precisely to help in that decision. Throughout the pages you’ll find a wide variety of activities to do and places to visit from Omoa to Trujillo, including Lake Yoja and San Pedro Sula. Go enjoy!
