CASA GALEANO

La Casa Galeano es un inesperado oasis de arte y patrimonio cultural en el occidente de Honduras. La casa fue restaurada hace pocos años gracias al apoyo de la Agencia Española de Cooperación Internacional, el gobierno local y los vecinos de la ciudad. Ubicada a un costado de la iglesia de San Sebastián, el inmueble goza de merecida fama por preservar y difundir la cultura Lenca. Encontrará exhibiciones permanentes de máscaras, cocina tradicional e interpretación de leyendas. El edificio tiene orígenes que se remontan posiblemente a finales del siglo XIX y fue propiedad de don Alberto Galeano.
