Recibe su nombre por los encuentros que en procesiones del Viernes Santo y domingo de resurrección realizan; además por ser un espacio idóneo de encuentro para la promoción de la cultura. Se podrá observar la exposición permanente de la información de Comayagua, una maqueta del casco histórico, una exposición de las placas de las 30 maravillas de Honduras y exposiciones temporales dos veces al mes que incluyen artesanías Lencas, pinturas, dibujos, tallados en madera y mucho más. De igual manera aportan al desarrollo artístico con clases de marimba infantil, teatro, guitarra, ballet y dibujo. No olvide pasar cerca de allí, en la plaza central por el Monumento a la Constitución de 1812, un lugar de valor histórico que conmemora el primer escalón de la lucha por la independen- cia centroamericana.
