As soon as you set foot on the island you realize immediately that you are not on the typical Caribbean tourist island. Utila is a small town filled with a population that has become more cosmopolitan for its size than almost anywhere else. Much of them are expatriates that have made their new home here. Sit in any café, restaurant or bar on the island and you’re likely to hear English, Spanish, German, French, Dutch,hebrew and Japanese. Utila is an eternal feast that is worth visiting at any time.
