El Martirio de San Sebastián o Baile de los Diablitos está considerada la obra de teatro más antigua de Honduras, ya que lleva puesta en escena 370 años, después de su primera presentación en 1644. Generalmente se realiza en los atrios de las iglesias durante la segunda semana de febrero, y aún conserva su esencia original traída por los sacerdotes Mercedarios con el fin de evangelizar. Posteriormente se le agregó a la representación el Baile de los Diablitos de origen indígena Lenca, gracias al entusiasmo del Comité Cultural de la ciudad y ha organismos internacionales.

The Martyrdom of Saint Sebastian or the Dance of the Diablitos (Little Devils) is considered the oldest play in Honduras; it has been performed for 370 years with the original debut dating back to 1644. The play is usually performed in the courtyards of several churches during the second week of February, and still retains its original essence that was inspired by the priests aiming to evangelize the colonies. Subsequently the Dance of the Little Devils was included thanks to the enthusiasm of the Cultural Committee of the city and international agencies.
