What’s the best family holiday you had as a child? The beach in Honolulu. Instead of building castles we hid our toys in the sand – too well, because my parents couldn’t find them again.

What’s the best family holiday you had as a child? A French villa for a heavenly week spent mainly fishing frogs out of the swimming pool.
