MARVEL SUPER HEROES MAKE A BIG ENTRANCE

ANT-MAN AND THE WASP: NANO BATTLE! BRINGS A ONE- OF-A- KIND ADVENTURE TO HONG KONG DISNEYLAND

SINCE IT OPENED in 2005, Hong Kong Disneyland has wowed visitors with magical experiences, beloved characters and immersive attractions and shows for kids and adults alike.

In 2017, the magical theme park launched Disney Parks’ first Marvelthemed attraction, the Iron Man Experience in Tomorrowland, which has since been voted as the park’s most popular attraction. Now Hong Kong Disneyland is set to become Asia’s epic centre of Marvel action, as it opens the resort’s second Marvel-themed attraction, Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle!

Launched on 31 March, it’s the first in the world to feature Marvel’s diminutive heroes, played by actors Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lily in Ant-Man and The Wasp.

Fusing Marvel’s strong storytelling with cutting- edge scenic illusion technology and a state- of-the-art gaming system, Ant- Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle! expands the epic adventure of Iron Man Experience.

The new adventure begins with a visit to the S.H.I.E.L.D Science and Technology Pavilion, an expansion of the Stark Expo in Tomorrowland. The visit is soon interrupted by Hydra, who has initiated a two-pronged attack in a Data Core at S. H. I. E. L. D. Pavilion.

While Iron Man deals with the threat to Stark Tower, he calls on Ant Man and The Wasp to dispatch the threat at the Pavilion – but with thousands of Swarmbots and only two of them, they need help.

Visitors are equipped with S. H. I. E. L. D.’s newest combat vehicle, the Dagger, and an EMP blaster to fight alongside the Super Heroes. When the Swarmbots form one giant Hivebot, visitors must shrink to the size of an ant to continue battling inside the microchips and circuit boards of the Data Core.

Once the mission is complete, visitors can celebrate their triumph with over 40 exclusive Ant- Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle! items – from t-shirts to limited- edition wristwatches – as well as refuelling with themed burger combos and other treats to commemorate the adventure. hongkongdisneyland.com
