Wild wolves invade sheep farm

Hungry wolves have wreaked havoc at a village sheep farm, killing more than 50 sheep since the beginning of the year. The farmer in Liugou town of Chengde county has suffered economic losses in the tens of thousands of yuan. The situation was blamed on long- last- ing low temperatures that have made it difficult for the wolves to find food in the wild.
