High-level professionals invited to join in the Sixth Changbai Wisdom Valley Program

Yin Rui Age: 55 Education: Doctoral degree in studies of polymer materials from Jilin University, and post doctorate from Virginia State University Yin has more than 30 years of experience in research and development in the chemical industry. He was hired at SinoDentex Co Ltd in 2016, focusing on the industrialization of dual curing resin used in dental treatments, which is expected to break monopolization of foreign products when it goes on the market.

Xuan Ming and his team Xuan’s team of 15 professionals started work at Chang Guang Satellite Technology Co Ltd in 2014, focusing on the design, production, assembly and launch of satellites and the industrialization of remote-sensing information services. With core technology of satellite onboard integration and rich experience in the field, the company helped to launch China’s first self-made, high-resolution commercial satellite, the JILIN-1, in October 2015. Xuan was former president of the Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics under the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Zhang Ke Age: 63 Education: Doctoral degree in physics, University of Washington Zhang has patents in the United States for new X-ray fluorescence detection technology used in food testing and inspection, as well as in petroleum and geological exploration. Zhang returned to China in 2016 and founded Changchun Furuisheng Instrument Co Ltd.

Xiu Zhiming Age: 38 Education: Post-doctoral, Shanghai Institute of Pharmaceutical Industry Xiu has four patents for pharmaceutical synthesis and preparations. He founded Changchun BC&HC Pharmaceutical Technology Co Ltd in 2014, whose prostaglandin series products and intermediates have met international standards.

Geng Zhi Age: 33 Education: Doctorate degree from Jilin University Geng mainly focuses on the synthesis, modification and application of macromolecule polymer materials. He now works at Jigang New Materials Science and Technology Development Co Ltd, where he is in charge of research and development of low-volatility organic compound polyurethane composite, which can reduce the weight and emissions of automobiles.

Yang Yanjun Age: 51 Education: Professor, doctorate degree from Jiangnan University Yang successfully completed the active extraction of egg yolks’ immunoglobulin and lysozyme. In 2013, he was appointed a technical expert by Jilin Modern Traditional Chinese Medicine Engineering Research Center Co, focusing on the industrialization of egg yolk immunoglobulin and albumen powder.

Ma Fangwu Age: 56 Education: Doctorate degree, Imperial College London Ma has more than 100 automobilerelated patents and is enlisted as a special expert with the Thousand Talents Program. In 2014, he was named the president of Changchun KH Automotive Technologies Co Ltd where he was responsible for the research and development of a whole-automobile production program for new energy vehicles, which has since won clients’ recognition. Yoon Hyung-sup Age: 49 Education: Sangmyung University, doctorate degree Yoon, from South Korea, serves as the general affairs director and international cooperation director at the Korea Games Society. In 2015, he was appointed by the Jilin Animation Institute to promote a creative design cooperation project with Korean universities, the construction of an industrial platform and introduction of creative projects.

Hu Bin Age: 49 Education: Doctoral supervisor, Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics under the Chinese Academy of Sciences Hu was named general manager of Changchun Zhongke Haorong New Material Research Co Ltd in 2012, where he was in charge of research, management and market promotion of the company. The company’s carbonyl metal products could be used in the military, special metals manufacturing and the chemical industry.

Shang Weihui Age: 34 Education: Master’s degree in materials processing engineering, Tongji University Shang focused on the research of composite materials after graduation. In 2014, he was appointed research manager of Changchun Aerospace Composite Materials Co Ltd. His team undertook major projects, including composite materials to be used in space stations and carbon fiber cameras.

Li Xianzhong Age: 48 Education: Microbiology major, Sichuan University Li has rich experience in the research and industrialization of vaccines and monoclonal antibody drugs. He was named technical director of Changchun GeneScience Pharmaceuticals Co Ltd in 2015, and is now leading the group’s project to upgrade and commercialize polyethylene glycol human growth hormone, for which annual sales are expected to reach 400 million yuan ($57.98 million) upon completion.

Li Zhuojun Age: 36 Education: York University, Toronto, Canada Li was named president of Tianyao BCT Pharmaceutical Co Ltd in Jilin in 2015, leading a clinical reassessment of a treatment of cardiovascular disease and organizing training classes for grassroots doctors. Prior to Tianyao, he worked at Global Pharmatech Inc in the United States and is experienced in the management of medical company sales.

Lin Tinghui Age: 43 Education: Master’s degree, Tatung University, Taiwan As an industrial design major, Lin won the Red Dot Design Award and IF Design Award, top awards in the design field. In 2016, he was appointed deputy general manager of the Fifth Dimension Animation & Games Technology (Jilin) Group Co, which produced China’s first 3-D commercial animated movie series made by college students, The Frog Kingdom.

Ma Ying Age: 40 Education: Master’s degree in logistics & supply chain management, HeriotWatt University, the United Kingdom Ma was appointed general manager of Changchun Silicon Valley Enterprises Operation and Management Co Ltd in 2015. He built Yitian Silicon Valley New City in Changchun, where he established a management system integrating the internet, industries, finance and scientific research. The park won the title of provincial-level innovation and startup incubator.

Lin Xiangyang Age: 56 Education: International relations major, Peking University Lin founded Jilin Fusion Open Internet Business Co in 2014. He developed Jilin province’s only property financing and management platform, as well as the trade pattern of “Internet plus Finance plus Agriculture”, which solved many difficulties in the financing and sale of local agriculture.
