Very hot drinks may cause cancer, WHO says

-

Gulping down anything hotter than 65 C, including water, coffee, tea and other beverages, may cause cancer, according to the World Health Organization’s cancer agency. The theory is that the disease can be initiated by constant irritation of the linings of the mouth and throat by very hot liquids.
