Puccini Festival Orchestra New Year Concert

Venue: Tianqiao Theater, Beijing The 2018-19 Puccini Festival Orchestra New Year Concert will be held in Beijing next week as the last stop of its China’s tour. It has performed in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Guangdong province, Qingdao, Shandong province, and five other Chinese cities.

Combining world-class symphony orchestras with classic opera, the concert brings together many artists, including Russian-born conductor Dmitri Jurowski, Serbian conductor Dejan Savic, conductor Alberto Veronesi and baritone Mauro Bonfanti from Italy, and Chinese soprano Zheng Nan. The artists will reinterpret classic works by Verdi, Puccini, Donizetti and other masters of opera.
