BMW recalls models in China over defect
German auto brand BMW is recalling 71 vehicles in the Chinese market due to flaws in airbag software, China’s market regulator said. The recall, which started Thursday, involves imported 425i and 430i models produced between June 16 and Dec 2, 2020, said a statement by the State Administration for Market Regulation. As the software parameters of the frontseat side airbags are flawed, the timing of their function may be delayed when the vehicle encounters a side impact.
