Health center opens
Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor (third left), chief executive of Hong Kong, is briefed by a staff member on the facilities of the newly opened Hong Kong Infection Control Center at North Lantau Hospital on Thursday. The center, supported by the central government, has more than 800 beds for COVID-19 patients. Forty-eight will be put to use on Friday.
