Carmaker seeking out NEV partners

Chinese carmaker BAIC BluePark New Energy Technology, a subsidiary of BAIC Group, is seeking broader cooperation in the booming new energy vehicle industry, said sources with the company last week. BAIC BluePark has teamed up with tech giant Huawei in making electric smart cars. Huawei and BAIC BluePark unveiled the ARCFOX Alpha-S HI, an electric car model featuring Huawei’s Harmony operating system and autonomous driving solution, at the 19th Shanghai auto show last month.
