HKT Premier has a vision of the lifestyle of the future. Its newly curated showcase, iot in Style 3, demonstrates how the Internet of Things (IoT) will infuse homes, offices and gyms, elevating the lives of busy urban entrepreneurs and professionals with added convenience.

The showcase is divided into two rooms, My Chamber and My Workspace, which HKT Premier created in collaboration with emerging architect Florence Kong and American furniture brand Herman Miller respectively. The space concepts are tailored to busy professionals who need to engage in mindful fitness (My Chamber) and who need to work flexibly and smartly (My Workspace).

Digital fabrication technology is at the forefront of My Chamber, which boasts an organic yet modern design and accommodates relaxation, entertainment and fitness. The space is completely user-centric, with four automation modes — spa, sports, movie and wine tasting. Each mode not only adjusts the Klipsch audio and Tom Dixon-designed lighting but activates high-end IoT-enabled appliances to create a multisensory experience, from the Grohe Aquasymphony spa with music, lighting and steam to the Technogym equipment with virtual training modes and the latest 75-inch Samsung Q9F QLED TV. These intelligent appliances are seamlessly integrated by a bespoke app corresponding to different automation modes. My Workspace, on the other hand, is the ideal home office, harnessing IoT to present an intelligent environment that allows professionals to work at their best. The space offers high-tech tools that enhance productivity and organisation as well as creativity and security. The workspace transitions seamlessly into a living room, too, taking the user from work to play. These are complemented by the contemporary furnishings provided by 100-year-old brand Herman Miller; from the seating to the coffee table and shelving, each element is carefully selected with both elegance and function in mind.
