The Eliza Jane

Occupying seven historic warehouses on Magazine Street near the iconic French Quarter, The Eliza Jane is a vibrant concoction of heritage and contemporary design. Part of Hyatt’s The Unbound Collection, the hotel was designed by NYC-based Stonehill Taylor. The interiors of the 196-room property and its French brasserie Couvant reference the city’s rich history and pay homage to the original businesses that were once housed in the buildings, including Peychaud’s Bitters and The Daily Picayune newspaper, whose publisher Eliza Jane stood out as one of the city’s liveliest denizens and inspired the name and character of the hotel.
