Designed by acclaimed resort architect Yuji Yamazaki, Kagi Maldives Spa Island is a boutique 50-villa property in the idyllic North Malé Atoll. Guests have the option of Beach Pool, Lagoon Pool and Ocean Pool villas, each of which offers a private pool, sundeck and indoor-outdoor bathroom. Amenities include a gym, two restaurants and a dive centre, but the centrepiece is Baani Spa, situated within a 1,500-square-metre wellness hub that offers treatments like reiki, sound healing and yoga, all above the turquoise lagoon waters.
